I was feeling miserable with flu, like shit put in a microwave, but since I had already reserved a table with friends, I decided to tough it out and go to BUDSUCS' Stand-up comedy night. Admittedly, I have had a hit-or-miss relationship with these shows so far, but this show was the best yet. The standouts of the show were Christian Schulte-Loh from Germany, and Stephen Grant from the UK. Christian's popcorn joke and Stephen's rock-paper-scissors in particular had us with tears streaming from our eyes. In fact, I laughed so much, my fever broke. Who needs Patch Adams when you have BUDSUCS?! English stand-up comedy has long been missed on the scene, and we wish them much success. See our newsletter for their upcoming monthly events.
