NAWA and Malesha Jessie

Yesterday, extremely hungover from the Bitch Moan and Wine Tasting of Baron von Twickel wines (Szekszard), I went up to the Franciscan House near Pasareti ter to introduce Fair Trade coffee, and Fair Trade in general, to 50 members of the North American Women's Association. Together with Gyorgyi Ujszaszi from Vedegylet (the founder and lead <!-- pagebreak -->malesha jessiecampaigner of the Fair Trade movement in Hungary), we made organic Fair Trade coffee and tea for the ladies while they listened to visiting American opera singer Malesha Jessie. She has a lovely voice, and can be heard this Sunday at 3:00pm with the Monarchia Orchestra in Szigetszentmarton (Kossuth Lajos utca, Jokai Mor Muvelodesi Kozpont). She is currently the Artist-in-Residence Hungarian Multicultural Center.
