World AIDS Day December 6th: Free Anonymous HIV Testing in Hungary
I came of age in the early 1980's when people had no idea how HIV was transmitted, and everyone in the US got a packet of info hung on their front door from Attorney General Koop. Back then, people still thought HIV could be transmitted by toilet seats. Although much more is known about the disease now, the behaviour of many people, including close friends, has not changed. They are still putting their lives, and the lives of their loved-ones at serious risk. A condom is still the best protection, but if you are not wrapping it, there is a free anonymous HIV-testing service in Budapest for you and your partner. Please note, a certificate from this organisation is valid, but not usable for official certification for a residence permit for example.
