November 19th was another great concert at Treehugger Dan's Bookstore Cafe by this local international duo Marco & Kati Concert (HU/FR). Kati is a singer with a beautiful voice, who has been singing for 4 years and Marco, a talented musician and acoustic guitar player who has been playing since he was 12. Their duo was set up in Budapest and they have been playing together for over a year. Their music is mostly acoustic covers from different artists such as KT Tunstall, K's Choice and many more, but for some reason most of the bands start with "K," and I had not heard of any of them. Kati is becoming much more confident the more she sings, and Marco is somehow getting more quiet ;-) The entire set was good, but my particular favourites were Marco's rendition of John Butler's "Ocean" and the encore of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." We want them back.
