Tumbleweed Poems
Many years ago, 13 in fact, I had a girlfriend who had read a story about a poet in the US. This poet or poetess would write poems and stick them in tumbleweeds for the winds to blow where they will and for random people to find and (hopefully) enjoy. With this in mind, one day she hid nice messages all over the flat for me which I would occassionally, lovingly stumble upon. I even found one emptying the vaccuum cleaner bag! Last night I had some friends over and took out my acoustic guitar, something I have not looked at in 13 years. After my friends had left, I started packing things up, including the guitar, when a pink post-it sticker fluttered down. It said, "Somebody loves you." A very sweet surprise to carry me through the night and into the next day.
