Americanacht III

amerinacht IIITreehugger Dan's snuck a concert into the first week of September, vaguely named Americanacht III. The gig featured Zoltan Gluck (San Francisco, California) and Freddie Schulze (Denton, Texas) and Texas' own Har Herrar (Justin Spike). All three singer-songwriters showcased their own solo stuff, and sometimes complemented each other with harmonies, banjo and guitar. I especially enjoyed Zoltan's bluegrass tunes, and a couple of Justin's self-penned songs. This week at Treehugger Dan's Bookstore & Lounge we have a real treat, when Jérôme Li-Thiao-Te plays with Michael Kentish for the whole evening. Over this weekend in the countryside, the discussion turned to favorite song-writers on the planet - and two immediately put Michael Kentish at the top of their list.
