Xpatloop.com International Networking Event

expat networkingXpatloop.com hosted an international networking event last night at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Wine for the event was provided by the Szent Gaál Castle Winery in Szekszárd.

The vineyard's owner Tibor Kovacs opened the event. I had a very good time meeting old and new aquaintances. Seven wines were on offer, but the tasting order seemed a bit confused by starting with a mediocre Rose. I was surprised by the lovely White Kadarka and actually bought a bottle. I found the Kadarissimo weak, the Bikaver good, and the Obsessio very good. The Passionata I found too sweet for my taste. I would have bought a bottle of the Obsessio as well, but I found the price a deterrent. Unfortunately, I do not remember the Cserszegi fűszeres because I was drunk by that time. ;-)

* Fehér Kadarka 2008
* Rosé 2009
* Kadarissimo 2008
* Bikavér 2007
* Obsessio Merlot 2007
* Passionata 2007
* Cserszegi fűszeres 2009

It was good for networking and I made a few new contacts for my organic Fair Trade coffee. I even won a prize during the business card drawing. I am not sure if I have ever won anything in my life, so I was quite excited. Even more so, when I found I had won an all-you-can-eat for 2 brunch at the Radisson's Olive Restaurant's Sunday Brunch Buffet. Now, who shall I take?
