Concert Review: Lucy and the Troubadors

lucy and the troubadorsI should have taken notes for this one because Lucy and the Troubadors put on a really fun and professional show. One I remember particularly enjoying was "One of These Things First" by Nick Drake because I asked about it. I was also very happy that someone finally sang some Tom Waits tunes. The band was tight, and the bass player couldn't keep a big grin off his face sometimes. Lucy has a very good voice and self-confident stage presence. I was sad to learn that she too will soon be leaving Budapest. Where are the female singers in this town?! With or without Lucy, we hope to have them back in the Fall.
