Winter at Balaton

Playing Hookie
Just saw the newest Harry Potter over at Mom Park at the matinee. Its good on occassion to be able to one's own hours ;-) I think I need to do this more often, and the popcorn is better than the microwave stuff. Still early in the evening, Mike, Lydia and I popped into the smallie pub by the side of the Opera that I have walked by every day for at least three years and never went in. There was a very affectionate beagle to play with, that really made my day.Read more »

Dutch New Year and Community Education
On January 12th I once again escorted my friend Elisabeth of Move2Hungary to the Dutch New Years Party at the Ambassador's Residence. It is a beautiful building with an even more beautiful view across Budapest from the balcony.
